plotting round-up for 'drug the captain' shifts
yo! I figured it would be easiest to make an ooc post where we can hash stuff out wrt giving the Captain his meds (since a few people expressed interest in doing so via Hilbert's post), so here it is. backstory: introducing pain medication to Captain Drake's air supply helps alleviate pain caused by his horribly mutated existence, L3TH3 has given Hilbert the go-ahead to train people on how to do this, Hilbert has made a post explaining all this. The downside is that L3TH3 has said that characters have to be in quarantine for 48 hours after giving the captain his meds, just to make sure that his disease doesn't spread.
If you haven't replied to the post and want in on this, hell yeah! we can handwave Hilbert informing your character about everything. I also would like to kindly request handwaving Hilbert explaining how to put medicine in the air supply because I skipped my hard science requirement in undergrad. Welcome to the Drug The Captain roster.
so, this is a plotting post! Hilbert icly would make a schedule for everybody's shifts for who gets to give the captain his medicine (because he's a fucking nerd like that). I can make an ic schedule if people want but because of turnover/characters apping & dropping/if someone is on hiatus/etc, I also don't mind if we handwave a schedule and people can claim their characters being in quarantine if needed for plot reasons (does someone want to break something but your guy would icly stop them even if you oocly want it broken? quarantine time)
As you can tell from the post, this is all hella loosey goosey, so comment any thoughts/opinions!

Rin will definitely be on the roster, especially since their job isn't as vital for the day-to-day functioning of the ship or wellbeing of the crew, so they're relatively available. I'm fine with not doing an IC schedule, though - I think that makes it easiest on everyone, especially because I don't want to think about things like what a pain management plan would even need to look like in this situation. For them I'm fine with assuming their availability is just 'statistically more often' and just including posts about a gap between network messages and in-person interactions around events or other times that would be relevant.
(Also ICly Rin would definitely have avoided all interaction for extended stretches of time so that's no hardship)

I also don't want to go deep into thinking about things & am fine with assuming, so that works for me!

I don't care about making a real schedule as I too am on team Handwave That Shit, but I do want Wolfwood to volunteer a bunch. Sure, there's Ops shit that needs to get taken care of but let's be real, a lot of it can be done by the AI with a crew this small, and Wolfwood would love to have an excuse to be completely isolated from everyone for awhile.
