Ooooh, I'd be 100% up for that idea! That seems exactly like the sort of mad science that Hilbert could be doing and the idea of both of them running into each other on the ship and having that instant "I'm not going to talk about this if you're not going to talk about this" vibes are A+.
and side note, I definitely recommend Wolf 359 (and not just cause I play from it, lmao). It's got a good vibe between 'wacky workplace comedy in space' and 'oh noooo said wacky workplace is horrifically dysfunctional and run by an evil machiavellian corporation, everybody needs therapy.'
